This video is primarily about self-expression and desire. It centers around a guidance hotline that also doubles as a jewelry sales call center. In this way, desire becomes confused with emotional and material want. The operator pushes two callers to confront their innermost desires and offers them realizations which allow them the opportunity to examine what it really means to express one’s inner self and wants without inhibition, without influence of social conventions, and without fear of being judged.
